Knowledge and methods in decision-support systems for urban governance is an area of great research that brings together multiple disciplines and backgrounds.

The BeDS for BUG agenda congregates a series of research projects dedicated to the development of theoretical and application frameworks of multiple approaches of decision-support using a wide range of theories and concepst from mathematics, physics, computation sciences, economics and gaming.

These are used to develop both exploratory and more mature models and tools to help urban governance processes in multiple geographies and contexts.
